Miss Venezuela Ivian Lunasol SarcosColimenares was crowned the 2011 winner of the Miss World beauty pageant at a glittering final ceremony in London.

हुस्न और ग्लैमर से भरा मिस वर्ल्ड मुकाबला अपनी साठवीं वर्षगांठ पर अपने  बर्थप्लेस ब्रिटेन वापस पहुंच गया। लंदन में रविवार को हुए वर्ड ब्यूटी पेजेंटस के इस फाइनल मुकाबले को दुनिया भर में एक अरब से ज्यादा लोगों ने देखा।

मिस वेनेजुएला इवियान लुनासोल सार्कोस कोलिमेनारिस ने साल 2011 के मिस वर्ल्ड का खिताब अपने नाम कर लिया है.  दूसरे स्थान के लिए मिस फिलीपींस ग्वेंदोलिन गेइले सनद्राइन रूएस और तीसरे स्थान के लिए मिस पुएर्टो रिको अमेंडा विक्टोरिया विलानोवा पेरेज ने बाजी मारी. लंदन में आयोजित हुए एक भव्य कार्यक्रम के दौरान उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया.  22 वर्षीय सार्कोस कोलिमेनारिस एक ब्राड कास्टिंग कंपनी के लिए काम करती हैं और उन्होंने हृयूमन रिसोर्जेस विषय की पढ़ाई की है।

India's hopes of winning the title for the sixth time came crashing down as Miss India World Kanishtha Dhankhar failed to make it to the top 25.
