Tata Motors has presented this cute little environment friendly concept car in 82nd Geneva Motor Show. More like a toy this car can easily make its way on the densely crowded roads in India and can be easily parked in just no place.

The Tata Megapixel is a four-seater range extended electric vehicle (REEV) concept. This car combines a lithium ion phosphate battery and an on-board petrol engine generator for recharging on the move.
You can go up to 900 km with a single tank of fuel, with CO2 emission of 22gm/km and fuel economy of 100 km/litre (under battery only power).
One at each wheel, this electric car has four independent electric motors. While parking this car you will experience that the hub drive the wheels in the opposite directions, while the front wheels are turned at acute angle, enabling 2.8 meter turning radius.
For charging the car it should be parked over the induction pad.
Four adults can be easily accommodated in Tata Megapixel with luggage. Double – sliding door system and car’s B- pillar less design makes entry exit easier.
Car has an advanced human machine interface (HMI), its built-in large touch screen HMI at the centre of instrument panel, becomes a common access point for controlling the functions of the car. Car’s console docking point can connect a smart phone with the car.
