The company which has already launched the first Hero branded bike in the market last year unveiled two new bikes 100 CC bike Passion XPro and a 125 CC Bike Ignitor along with a 110 CC scooter named Maestro.
However, the company has not announced the price of the three models and will be announced at the time market launch.
While, the Maestro will be launched in the market during this month, the two new motorcycle models will hit the market later this year.
"The launches that you see today are not just new products, these models reflects the company's intent and vision for the future and a new clear strategy to further consolidate our leadership position," Hero MotoCorp Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Pawan Munjal toldreporters here.
He further said in the calender year 2011 the companysold over six million units of two wheelers which is "the highest achieved by any single manufacturer in the world."
In August last year, India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp (formerly Hero Honda) had ended its 27 years long relationship with Honda.
Commenting on the new product Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said Maestro will be targeted at male customers in the age group of 18 to 24 while the Ignitor and XPro will be looking for executives and
college going students.
According to an agreement signed between the two erstwhile partners, Hero can use the Honda brand till 2014.
Hero Group and Honda had signed a new licensing agreement in March, under which the Indian firm will pay its Japanese counterpart 45 billion yen (about Rs 2,450 crore) till 2014.
